How we review.
Look4AI is a review desk, not a scraped list. We open every tool, use it, and file an honest verdict — so a click into a product page always pays out more than it cost you.
What earns a spot
A tool gets on the desk when it does something genuinely useful with AI and we can form a real opinion about it. We currently have 69 tools reviewed by hand. We would rather run a smaller, trustworthy desk than a 40,000-item grid nobody can navigate.
How we score
Every tool is judged against the same three axes. The headline number is an editorial score out of five — a human judgment, never a paid placement and never a fabricated crowd rating.
Ease
How fast a real person gets to value — setup, learning curve, and how much it fights you.
Value
What you get for the money, honestly weighed against the free tier and where the paywall bites.
Power
Depth and ceiling — whether it holds up past the demo for serious, repeated work.
The “skip it if…” rule
Every review names who should not buy it. A tool with no downside is a tool we haven’t used. The weakness is often the most useful line on the page.

Some outbound links may be affiliate links, and tools can pay for a faster review or a “Featured” badge. Neither buys a better score or a kinder verdict — ratings are independent and editorial. Where a listing is sponsored, we say so.
