Turn a saved TikTok or a rough idea into a bookable trip
Reviewed by The Desk · Last verified July 2026
“Airial is one of the slicker AI trip planners around: it turns a vague idea or a saved TikTok into a bookable multi-city itinerary in seconds, which is impressive for a free beta. But recommendations still need a human sanity-check, and the whole thing lives in your browser for now.”
Skip it ifSkip it if you need a polished mobile app today, want airtight accuracy on prices and availability without double-checking every leg, or are planning a complex trip where a seasoned human travel agent's judgment still beats an AI's confident guesses.

What it is
Airial is an AI travel-planning assistant that aims to compress the messiest part of a trip — the logistics — into a few seconds. You describe a destination or vibe, or paste in a TikTok or Instagram Reel, and its proprietary "AlphaTravel" engine (which the founders say pairs LLMs with AlphaGeometry-style reasoning) returns a multi-city itinerary complete with flights, hotels, daily plans, a map view of distances, and preference-aware suggestions for food and activities. Everything, including booking, is meant to happen in one browser tab.
The product's most distinctive feature is turning social content into a real plan: drop in a saved reel and Airial extracts the places shown and stitches them into a route you can edit and book. It also supports collaborative planning with friends and ships topical modules like a World Cup 2026 planner. Behind it are ex-Meta, Google, and Waymo engineers Archit Karandikar and Sanjeev Shenoy, backed by a $3M seed round from Montage Ventures and others — a stronger pedigree than most tools in the crowded AI-itinerary space.
The caveats are the usual beta ones. Airial is web-only today, with mobile apps still on the roadmap; generated prices, availability, and routing can drift from reality and deserve a manual check before you commit money; and long-term pricing is unannounced, so the current free-and-no-login access is not guaranteed to stick. As a fast, low-friction way to get a credible first-draft trip — especially from social inspiration — it's genuinely useful, but it's a starting point to refine rather than a hands-off travel agent.

Pros & cons
The good
- Generates a full multi-city itinerary (flights, hotels, daily plans) in seconds and lets you book in-app
- Genuinely novel social import: paste a TikTok or Instagram Reel and it extracts destinations into a plan
- Free with no login or paywall during the public beta
The catch
- Web-only for now; the promised iOS and Android apps aren't out yet
- Still a beta, so itineraries, prices, and availability need a human double-check before booking
- Long-term pricing is unannounced, so today's free access may not last

Is Airial Travel free?
Yes. During its public beta Airial is free to use with no login or paywall. The team has said it is prioritizing user growth over revenue and monetizes primarily through flight and hotel bookings, but no paid subscription tiers have been announced, so future pricing could change.
Can it really plan a trip from a TikTok?
Yes. One of Airial's signature features is pasting a TikTok or Instagram Reel link and having the AI extract the destinations shown into a structured, editable itinerary you can then book.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet. Airial is web-only and runs in your browser. The founders have said iOS and Android apps are planned, but as of now the mobile experience is limited to the website.
Who is behind Airial?
Airial was built by college friends Archit Karandikar (previously at Meta, Google, and Waymo) and Sanjeev Shenoy (previously on Instagram Reels at Meta). The startup raised a $3M seed round led by Montage Ventures, with South Park Commons, Peak XV, and angels from Meta, UiPath, and Dropbox.
Can I book flights and hotels through Airial?
Yes. Airial integrates dozens of travel APIs so you can book flights and hotels directly in the app rather than clicking out to separate booking sites, though you should still verify prices and availability before confirming.
